Calista Fendelet

Calista Fendelet is a second-year student in the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the University of Saskatchewan. With a passion for learning and education, Calista completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Pharmacology with a minor in Psychology at the U of S prior to entering the PharmD program in 2022. It was this background in pharmacology along with an interest in helping others that led her to pursue a career in pharmacy. Calista originally grew up in Lloydminster, Alberta, and is a citizen of the Metis Nation- Saskatchewan. She is a student member of the Indigenous Pharmacy Professionals of Canada and also a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Mentoring and spending time with Indigenous youth has sparked Calista’s passion for involvement with the next generation in hopes of a brighter and healthier future for all. Calista is so grateful and honoured to receive the Mitakye Owasin Award in Pharmacy which will assist her in achieving her goals of becoming an excellent pharmacist one day
